Car Crap? Who Wants Titles Anyways?
So $150 dollars and three days and the end of a long work day later, my car finally has good breaks front and rear. Well I took the rotors back, but I had to buy a new caliper. The pads and shoes, drums, and hardware for the rear breaks are brand new. Oh are you wondering why it took me so long for the project? I spent a good many of hours trying to get the drums off. Usually there is a hole in the back-plate so you can get to an adjuster and loosen the pads. Not on my car. So after a good amount of cutting, prying, breaking and beating I was able to get the dang things off! I also had to replace a wheel cylinder, but the one I replaced on someone else’s car was the same size (this is the only time you will ever hear me thank GM). I just needed to rebuild it and I was thankful for that. Since I didn't have a car at the time, it also provided me with time to spend with my dad. I also replaced my dash display recently. That was also quite an adventure. Anyways, I had to have something to write.
